A couple of years ago, I spent a week in Loch Maddy, North Uist. I was writing my dissertation at the time but took lots of photographs of the the breathtaking scenery with a view to painting at a later date.
Every morning, leaving the lodgings and walking through Loch Maddy would bring a different experience, depending on the weather. This is a misty morning image of Loch Maddy, loosely painted in subdued tones to reflect the mood at the time.
This is part of a small limited run of 50 prints in total.
