Berneray is probably my favourite beach in North Uist. The weather brings almost constant changes in light providing a multitude of options for painting compositions.
I enjoyed this view so much, I took a range of images into paint. This is one of them. Loosely painted strokes of grey/blue tones with whispy clouds and the crests of the waves in impasto crisp white. A lovely way to end the day!
This is part of a small limited run of 50 prints in total.
